Originally from St. Michael's, our family moved here in the 80s and carried on farming the land, soon after half of the land was split in to a caravan park and the other half remained as farming. Father and son worked hard in 1984 to build the caravan park from just fields. This family run business is now one of the main parks in the area.
Stanah house Caravan park is a small caravan site situated next to the idyllic River Wyre. As you drive down our road it will feel as if you are a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities because we are surrounded by fields and country side.
The area around the park is notoriously famous for it’s wildlife, bird watchers come from all over the UK to view the rare birds nesting along the river and in the surrounding fields.
At the entrance to the park there is a large car park with an excellent café and a boat jettison point which many people use to take their speed boats and jet ski’s on to the river.
If you are looking for a dog friendly, quiet and relaxed caravan site to stay at then we are the place for you!
